Celebrating Differences – the much-awaited concert of MJF Charitable Foundation, marks the most joyous of seasons, Christmas where every child is given the chance to shine on stage. 2018's show was held on the 16th December at MJF Centre Moratuwa, celebrating togetherness with music, dance and drama - as Dilmah celebrated 30 years of taste, goodness and purpose.

It was a special day for hundreds of children from MJF kids programmes across Sri Lanka as they came together to put their best foot forward on stage. The concert stayed true to its name by featuring a variety of musical engagement and drama performed by children and youth from North, East, South and West. The children sang and swayed right into our hearts, showing that celebrating differences was all about acceptance and embracing each individual for who they are and what they want to be. MJF youth from Peliyagoda ceremoniously inaugurated the evening with a fusion dance. While the girls from Anjali Aham, Jaffna delighted the crowds with a Bharatha Natyam performance, youth from MJF Centre in Kalkudah captivated everyone with a drama that conveyed a powerful message. Wearing vibrant makeup and pretty costumes, the tiny tots of Koul Ara - School of Inspiration and Cape Weligama Preschool put on a colourful show for the audience - making it a memorable night for all.

As the children went through the motion of the concert - displaying their culture and creative flair - they also learned the importance of friendship and teamwork. Everyone went home happy, enriched with a better appreciation of arts. The night of Celebrating Differences was capped off with a thankful song as Rainbow Kids came on stage casting magic and colour in the air - marking the spirit of Christmas.
