December is the most dynamic, exciting and even – fun month on the MJFCF annual calendar. Celebrating Differences, the much-awaited concert of MJF Charitable Foundation is one of the longest running events since the Foundation’s inception.
Children, youth and adults at our MJF Centres in Sri Lanka gather annually with our Settlor, Dilmah Founder Merrill J. Fernando to celebrate the differences that make us human. Some have down syndrome, other autism, some are typical and yet others have cerebral palsy. Our focus is on their ability, as we look beyond any disability and celebrate those differences. It is a joyful evening at which every child feels the true spirit of Christmas, and every guest understands the purpose of business.
