'Oneness-Heart Tears and Smiles’ Project'
Project name: Emergency medical Aid
The Oneness-Heart-Tears and Smiles Project (please visit their website at www.onenessheart.org) generously partnered with the MJF Charitable Foundation to donate approximately $20,000 worth of essential medical aid. The humanitarian assistance organisation founded in 1990, volunteered its assistance via its global network. Initial medical aid supplies were received from Australia whilst further stocks continue to be received via the Oneness-Heart, Tears and Smiles Project from Czech republic and other centres. The Trustees of the MJF Charitable Foundation wish to thank the volunteers of the project for their generosity and for readily empathising with and assisting those that suffered in the 26th December tsunami disaster.
The Project will shortly work with the MJF Charitable Foundation in evolving in Sri Lanka their ‘Children’s Blossoming Friendship Program’. The program has fostered friendship, understanding and oneness between children of all nationalities, cultures and faiths. Thousands of schoolchildren in Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand prepare individual gift bags containing a small toy and school and art supplies, as well as their own drawing and messages for children in other countries. The Childrens’ programme is expected to commence in the Hambantota preschools recently constructed by the Foundation.
