Celebrating the art of the Koulara community & the MJF Kids
On 27th & 28th October 2007, the Foundation together with resource partners IUCN held an exhibition to showcase the creativity of the Koulara community. Members of the community were also present at the Exhibition to learn, for the first time, how to interact with consumers, and how to take charge of their destiny.
Also on display was a photo and art exhibition by the MJF Kids, a group of urban slum children the Foundation has taken under its wing to provide assistance in their school curriculum, guidance in essential life skills and much required psycho-social support in order for them to overcome the constraints of their deprived backgrounds.
